How to Use the Jail Census

| Name | Inmate name, commonly last-first format. |
| Inmate # | Jail inmate number. |
| Age and Sex | Public demographic fields shown in the roster. |
| Release Date | Shown when applicable; many entries may be blank. |
| Held for | Holding agency such as Wright County Sheriff, city police, or other jurisdiction. |
| Charges | Statute number, offense text, severity, and arrest context. |
MobilePatrol and Real-Time Detention Information
Wright County identifies MobilePatrol / Appriss as a free smartphone app for Android and iPhone with real-time detention center information and other public safety services as available.
The Apple App Store listing for MobilePatrol is the official iPhone app source linked in the research.

Use the app as an app-based custody-information channel alongside the posted jail reports.
The Google Play listing for MobilePatrol is the Android app source.

App-store features include alerts, tips, public safety records, and custody-related services, but county-specific availability should be confirmed in the app.
Visitation, Voicemail, and Services
On-site monitor visits are free, last 20 minutes, allow two adults, allow children, and require current government photo ID. Visiting sessions are Monday through Friday 9:00-11:30 a.m. and 2:30-4:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday evening sessions are 6:00-8:00 p.m.; Sunday has no visiting. The jail lists no-visit holidays including Juneteenth, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Remote visits are scheduled through InmateCanteen.com at the visitor's expense. The inmate voicemail number is 763-515-4160. The jail links iCare for special meals and VINELink for custody notifications. Pay-for-stay and medical-bill waiver questions use the Ability to Pay process and 763-684-4538.
County Jail vs Minnesota DOC
The Wright County Jail roster covers local custody. People committed to the Commissioner of Corrections and still under DOC jurisdiction are searched through the state DOC public viewer.
The Minnesota DOC public viewer searches people under DOC jurisdiction.

Newly sentenced people may take time to appear in DOC systems, so jail, court, and DOC records can update on different schedules.
Sheriff Records Requests and Limits
Law-enforcement data requests should be emailed to sheriffrecords@co.wright.mn.us with a description of the requested data or completed disclosure form. Jail reports are updated Monday-Friday except holidays, so weekend or holiday custody changes may not appear immediately in posted reports.
